Saheed Fidelity.
Democracy Day is a public holiday in Nigeria. It is held annually on May 29. This public holiday commemorates the restoration of democracy in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, when the newly elected Olusegun Obasanjo took office as the President of Nigeria in May 1999 ending multiple decades of military rule that began in 1966 and had been interrupted only by a brief period of democracy from 1979 to 1983.
As today mark 19years of uninterrupted democratic system of Government in the history of Nigeria, Hon. (Barr.) Asiwaju Yinka Mafe a democratically elected House of Assembly member serving his people right in this present political dispensation enjoins great Nigerians to be at peace with each other as dividend of democracy will be evenly distributed on equity basis to all and sundry.
He thereafter use same medium to lure great Nigerians to continue praying for the betterment of Nigeria and to continue in supporting and cooperating with the Government of the day in changing things for the positive benefit and betterment of the people.
God bless our Country Nigeria.
With hearty greetings from,
Hon. (Barr.) Asiwaju Yinka Mafe
Majority Leader OGHA
Member House of Rep Hopeful 2019.
