The first principle of unalienable rights recognises that everyone is naturally endowed by the Creator with certain rights that cannot be infringed or given away. Amongst these rights are life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

In order to secure or safeguard these vital rights, government are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from consent of the governed. 

My little Oxford dictionary defines politician as “person engaged or interested in politics” and politics as “science and art of government; political affairs or life or principles etc.” Politics consists of “social relations involving authority and power”. A politician is defined as one who is actively involved in politics or one who holds or seeks a political office.

Politicians are required to implement social reforms and policy measures that contribute to the general welfare of the populace which AYM has been doing since 1998 when he was elected as a counsellor. 

A politician is an individual like AYM who is involved in influencing public policy and decision making in government. AYM plays a central role in the lives of his people. He is the concentrated voice of the people that make all efforts to improve his constituency and peoples’ welfare by ensuring peaceful and promotion of state of serenity in his constituency. 

AYM, as a grassroot politician, the most vibrant and outspoken OGHA member from Remo, ensured the rumored excise of Orile Oko in Remo North to Obafemi Owode LG during the creation of LCDAs never happened.This he assured us when the youths staged a protest to the OGHA complex regarding this. He solidly stood for Remo, he also featured in some specific events that has to do with the well being of his people e.g. The Sagamu youth protest against police extortion and intimidation on March 1st, 2015, during the last Sagamu Day festival, he was fully involved, some many people were awarded, the coronation of the Akarigbo of Remoland on Dec., 7th, 2017, quick intervention into the clash between youths/okada riders and the police on Nov., 29, 2017. Etc. to mention in few just in his bid to make sure that peace reign among his people and to promote effective social and political well-being among his constituents.

AYM is a viable and dependable politician, he's always happy to serve the people and consider himself as a servant-leader and people his paymasters. He represent the hopes, aspirations and the interests of every citizen in Remo federal constituency.

Being a true leader, AYM has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the equality of his actions and the integrity of his intent.

AYM's quality is often backed by skills, experiences, intelligence, integrity, with instincts all combined together to achieve his goals. The best quality of AYM is honesty, God fearing and loving. 

A man who is endowed with all the aforementioned qualities truly deserves to represent the people of Remo.

Fellow Remonian, let's join hands together and support Hon. (Barr.) Asiwaju Yinka Mafe as member, house of representatives, Remo federal constituency in 2019 general elections.
