Asiwaju Yinka Mafe's Congratulatory Message on Ekiti State Governorship Election.

On behalf of myself and the good people of my constituency (Sagamu 1), may I say this is a great victory for Nigeria's Democracy. You will agree with me that this election has in a great way deepened and enrich our electoral system even though we had minor issues.
A keenly contested election. Congratulations to INEC for conducting a credible election. Congratulations to the security agencies for ensuring a peaceful conduct. Congratulations to the electorate in Ekiti state for making sure their votes count. Congratulations to the people of Ekiti State for a peaceful transition. Congratulations to JKF - (The Governor elect). The next agenda for the elders in the state is to commence a reconciliation process to ensure gallantry in defeat and magnanimity in victory. Sustenance of democracy and promoting good governance should be the ultimate focus. Political scientists have to look into ways of reducing tensions before the election in Nigeria. It's becoming intolerable. May God continue to sustain our hard earned democracy.
