Ogun State House of Assembly Leader, Asiwaju Yinka Mafe has urged Remo citizens to support and vote for politicians with Community Development track records in the coming 2019 polls.
This statement was issued at the early hours of today while addressing a press conference in Sagamu. He advised people of Remo federal constituency not to entertain or give room for trial and error candidate at this critical period. He said most people are in support of his ambition based on his local and international political experiences. He beseech all the people in Remo to always consider what an aspirant or a candidate has contributed in his or her community before they support such ambition.
Legislative business according to AYM is a serious business to attract dividend to us, especially considering that in Remo we barely have our sons and daugthers at Federal Civil Service. We need someone to be the voice of Akarigbo Oba Adewale Ajayi in Abuja. That voice must be vocal, intelligent, responsive, reliable and productive like our respected Akarigbo.
Asiwaju Yinka Mafe, who is the majority leader, Ogun State House of Assembly, is contesting for the House of Representatives in Remo Federal Constituency. He said what is needed in Remo is experience and youth vocal.
AYM said, we cannot entrust the governance and mantle of leadership of our great constituency in the hands of an inexperienced candidate that will take us backward, as we have experienced in the past years.
On his mission in the House of Representatives, AYM said his experience from the campaign field over the years has shown that the immediate needs of his constituents are employment and empowerment for the youths, security of life and property and provision of basic infrastructure, including stable power supply, good roads and potable water.
He promised to attract federal presence to his constituency, if elected. AYM therefore, urged people to reject oppositions and embrace APC as a party in the coming elections which is the only way to bring more development to Remo as a whole.
He also advised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure that all eligible voters collect their voter’s cards so that they can exercise their franchise during the elections. “INEC is improving on the distribution of voter’s card. If they keep the tempo, we shall get there,” he added.
God bless Remoland!
God bless Ogun State!
God bless Nigeria!
