Asiwaju Yinka Mafe is a worthy Son of Remoland, Akarigbo Openly Declared

Another landmark declaration was today made by the Akarigbo of Remoland, HRM Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, on the personality of Hon Asiwaju Yinka Mafe. He was openly pronounced and sanctified as a worthy son cum ambassador of Remoland.
Asiwaju Yinka Mafe, a leading House of Representative Aspirant for Remo Federal Constituency under All Progressive Congress and the Ogun State House of Assembly Majority Leader received a major boost to his aspiration as he got a royal blessing and endorsement from Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi; The Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remo kingdom. The endorsement came during a visitation of Mafe with the Akarigbo at the Palace of the Akarigbo of Remoland.
The Akarigbo of Remoland in company of other notable political gladiators in Remoland and environs openly expressed joy and fulfilment toward Mafe's aspiration. Oba Akarigbo described him as a worthy son who is endowed with spirit of excellence. He said Mafe's ambition is a pointer to the era of new dawn in Sagamu and the entire Remoland. Oba Akarigbo assured Remonians that AYM candidature is assurance that Remo will get responsible and responsive representation. Oba Akarigbo further stated that he believes he can call on AYM anytime from Abuja if need be and AYM will come and listen to him based on his antecedents. Oba Akarigbo also agreed that Remo must be represented by her best and experienced hands and that the peace and development of Remoland should be everyone's priority.
Lisa of Akarigbo also agreed with Oba Akarigbo, he said AYM is a proud Remonian and that he believes that AYM would do more to turn around the whole of Remoland.
Notable personalities present at the palace were also not left out as they corroborated the Oba's comments on the personality and potential of Asiwaju Yinka Made. They openly declared that Mafe is endowed with the needed experience and skills to surpass the records of his predecessors.
In his own remark, Hon Sakiru Odusanya added more steam to the grand endorsement by stating that Mafe has long been singled out for excellence from the entire crop of Remo aspirants, largely because of his competent and benevolent antecedent, adding that he has rightfully earned the endorsement. Other aspirants across parties were advised to withdraw their aspiration because AYM qualities stands him out the best among the rest. Hon Kehinde Oseni (SLG APC Deputy Chairman) was also present.
The visibly proud Oba Babatunde Ajayi, bestow blessings on the APC house of representatives aspirant; AYM. The prayers rites continued for almost an hour, and it depicted the depth of faith and confidence the Royal father has in Mafe's leadership capabilities.
AYM himself was profuse in his expression of appreciation for the overwhelming show of support from the highly revered traditional ruler and political leaders who he together described as "God-sent fathers". AYM used the occasion to mention few out of his achievements as a two terms member of Ogun State house of assembly. They are as follows;
- Sponsorship of over 60 Resolutions and 32 Bills
- Creation of jobs for Youths through internships and MDAs.
- Women empowerment schemes and programmes
- Community Health Centre and Free eye surgery
- Free ICT Training Centre
- Ultra – Modern Town Hall at Emuren
- Construction and Renovation of Class Rooms
- Free School Bus/Shuttle for pupils
- Free coaching classes for Secondary School students;
- Facilitation of admission to Tertiary Institutions for Youths
- Sponsorship of Football Tournaments
- Training of Traditional Birth Attendants.
"I can say that I've been privileged to gather the needed experience to serve Remo further, but I can't do it alone. I thank you my Fathers and Mothers so much for this overwhelming expression of support and prayers. I promise not to fail you, God helping me", AYM stated.
He further promised to continue to do his best adding that the entire people of Remoland especially the youths, will not be left out in the remarkable growth that Remoland will experience in his tenure when elected by their votes.
Remo queens; Wonuoka (Miss Remo), Kemi (Miss Sagamu), Bukola (Sisi Oge Ogun), Adebukola (Miss Lafose), Temidayo (Face of Esoe Remo), Mariam (Miss Epe), Olanike (Miss Oyo), Mosunmola (Arewa Ogun), Oyinkansola (Miss Ereke; 1st Runner up), Oritoke (Miss Afotamodi) were all in attendance with some selected youth leaders and women leaders across Remoland.
Immediately after the royal blessing and endorsement, AYM and his supporters took to the streets of Sagamu Local government and Ikenne Local government to sensitise the general public on the need to get registered for PVC.
The process of obtaining a Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) is still ongoing in preparation for the 2019 general elections. The body in charge of the distribution of PVC, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has done well by extending the registration exercise by one week.
Go and get your PVC, it's your civic right. We believe that with our PVC, we can have a new Remo that we've been clamouring for. I mean the Remo of our dream. AYM said repeatedly.
