Asiwaju Yinka Mafe Commissioned Another Borehole In Ikenne.

The lawmaker representing Sagamu State constituency I Offin, in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Majority leader and House of representatives aspirant; Hon (Barr.) Asiwaju Yinka Mafe, has commissioned another borehole in Ikenne which is part of the project he tagged "Mafe Water For Remo", he commenced the project at Aiyegbami in Sagamu where he assured residents across Remoland of more projects in Remo federal constituency.

AYM, who commenced the commissioning at Aiyegbami few week ago, stated that the water project was to partly fulfill his campaign promises for Remonians. AYM asserted that soon after he resumed as the legislator representing the constituency, he did a survey to identify the major problem facing the constituency and discovered that over 65 - 70 per cent of residents lack access to portable water as they travel to far distance to get water. 

AYM added that every resident of Ikenne is the owner of the borehole, urging them to use the facilities with care so that it would last long. AYM also said Remo North would be the next place to go for project commissioning as the borehole is almost completed. AYM then beseech government at all levels to invest more in the provision of portable water, stressing that the provision of such social amenity should not be left in the hands of private individuals.

AYM assured the residents that he would facilitate federal projects if he's elected in 2019 as a member, house of representatives, Remo federal constituency as he facilitated the rehabilitation of some major roads;(Akarigbo road Sagamu, Sagamu-Ogijo road, Ode-Remo-Emuren road), done by the state government under the leadership of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

“Governor Ibikunle Amosun has done perfectly and wonderfully well in terms of road reconstruction and rehabilitation in our constituency" AYM stated. 

Speaking at the commissioning, an APC leader in Ikenne stated that the borehole project was executed at the right time, as residents of the constituency had suffered lack of access to portable water in the past. He stated further that he was happy that AYM was fulfilling his campaign promises in Sagamu and also extending it to all Remo towns. The residents were so much excited as they were seen shouting and echoing... MafeLafeLabuja...

AYM also called on residents to make conscious efforts to maintain the project, while urging other fellow politicians to be up and well doing so that the dividend of democracy would get to the grass root level as this is one of the areas that requires the presence of government most.

AYM proceeded to Remo North where he met some APC excos and later visited His Royal Majesty, Oba Albert Adebose Mayungbe, Erinsiba III the Odemo of Isara Remo.
Kabiyesi Alaiyeluwa welcomed AYM by himself in to the palace, showered royal blessing upon AYM and also endorsed him. Odemo of Isara implore that AYM shouldn't listen to detractors but remain focused on his aspiration.

AYM was accompanied by notable people in Remoland, MafeLafe media crew, party chairmen, women leaders, youth leaders, LG excos, friends, admirers and well wishers among others.
