ONIRANIKEN MISCHIEVOUS ATTEMPT TO DISTRACT THE POPULACE FROM HIS LAND GRABBING ACTIVITIES THROUGH CHEAP BLACKMAIL

Our attention was drawn to a recent publication credited to the Oniraniken of Iraniken, Sagamu, Oba Adewale Adeniji who in his mischievous manner alleged our highly revered and peace loving traditional Ruler, Alayeluwa (Oba) Timothy Oyesola Akinsanya (Orungba II) of being after his life since March 31st, 2021 when a peaceful protest was held at the Akarigbo palace to lodge their complaints against the land grabbing activities of the monarch within our rural area.

We consider the assertions credited to oba oniraniken as cheap  blackmail aimed at either distracting the populace from the essence of the staged protest or to weep up undeserved sympathy against the protest. It is pertinent to inform the public that we were prompted to embark on the protest in the interest of protecting the lives and properties of our people whom had been violently evicted from their homes by the hoodlums and land grabbers stationed at Okerala, Oko-Iwaju, lpa and Kanuyi villages amongst others by the Oniraniken.

It was our believe that a lasting solution would be proffered to the unacceptable conduct of the monarch by the Paramount Ruler and Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi hence the peaceful protest at two consecutive times. That a peaceful protest in a civilised clan could be alleged to be after someone's life remains laughable to us even as we wondered how anyone could think that resorting to cheap blackmail on it could sail in this modern age, therefore we here state categorically again that the Ewusi of Makun-Kingdom that we know too well would not for whatever reason go after anybody's life.

We are to challenge the distinguished members  of the press to pry into the allegation and get back to the populace on, which police station was the matter reported, which of the house was the alleged attempt on his life perpetuated and which hospital was his wife treated after being beaten blue and black according to him.

The members of the press should be informed that Oniraniken was at our last appearance at the Ogun state House assembly requested to provide the survey plan with which he got the so_called judgement on 4,500 acres of land rather than justifying himself through it's provision, he choose to arm twist the OGHA by subsequent non appearance. We are very optimistic that the members of the press would be interested in digging deep into this allegation by approaching the distinguished members of the OGHA for clarity.

The public also need to know through the distinguished members of the press that just two days ago, eight of the land grabbers working for the Oniraniken as land grabbers at Oke-lwaju, Simawa area of Sagamu, were arrested by the officers of the force headquarters, Abuja, for their notorious land grabbing activities.

One a last note and after which we shall owe neither Oniraniken nor his cohorts any further response to whatever mischievous allegation that might emanate from their quarter, we should reiterate that our esteemed royal father, Ewusi of makun holds the family of the Oniraniken especially his wives in a very high esteem as such urge them to implore him to toe the path of dignity, contentment and integrity by desisting from land grabbing Makun homestead for whatever reason as to restore the honour and prestige that his family deserves.
