Sagamu is a conglomeration of thirteen towns located in Ogun State along the Ibu River and Eruwuru Stream between Lagos and Ibadan, founded in the mid 19th century by members of the Remo branch of the Yoruba people in south-western Nigeria.
The influx of Fulanis and some strange People into Sagamu town is now becoming disturbing as strange people keep trooping in every now and then.
An eye witness who reside in Sabo area of Sagamu confirmed to SON that strange people are finding their ways into Sagamu, urged Sagamites not to sleep with their two eyes closed but remain conscious and careful, noting that the strangers have dominated Sabo in Sagamu.
The security agencies can't do this alone, the corporation of the general public is highly needed too so as to curb every form of criminality and put a stoppage to anyone who might want to unleash terror or causes mayhem with the town of Sagamu.
The Residents therefore called on all and sundry to be security conscious and alert the security agencies anytime they notice any form of criminality most especially during this period when the Nation's security is being threatened.

Sagamu is the capital of the 33 towns known as Remo, with people who originated from Ile-Ife.
