Ogun LG Poll: Sagamu PDP Breaks Jinx, Holds Joint General Meeting, Unveils Chairmanship/ Vice, Councillorship Candidates

The People's Democratic Party PDP finally settled for peace, held their first joint meeting at the popular Oriyanrin, Hospital Road, Sagamu.

It's was a glamorous day as the meeting jointly held comprised of all leaders of both Late Senator Buruji Kashamu and Hon Oladipupo Adebutu.

All the stakeholders who spoke expressed their deep joy that after a long period of intra party rivalry and battle for supremacy, the people were able to amicably resolve their differences and issues despite belonging to different and separate camp.

Stakeholders agreed to maintain love and peaceful co-existence amongst all.

The current Leaders of the two factions, Omooba Dauda Adeyemi (Double D) Mr. Laja Dabiri, both handed over PDP flag to Omooba Damilare Bello and also unanimously threw their weights behind Dre.

Omooba Damilare is currently the leading Candidate under the platform of PDP, he's a crowd puller and grassroot Mobilizer.

It was reported that Omooba Dre has extended his hands of gestures to Sagamites home and diaspora, he's a man that doesn't discriminate and his great achievements and antecedents speak alot about him.

During the meeting, all the youths present were filled with enthusiasm at the emergence of Omooba Dre, they applauded the party for making the great, bold and right decision in paving way for the youth to be the party flag bearer.

All the Members of PDP present at the meeting collectively assured Omooba Damilare of their total supports at the poll, they also promised to work tirelessly and mobilise massively for him so that the party would remain victorious in coming local government elections.

The Leaders of the party also handed over flags to all the Councillorship Candidates across the 15 wards in Sagamu local government.

Omooba Damilare in his response appreciated the Leaders and all party faithfuls who witnessed the event, he reiterated his commitment, he charged the party faithfuls to propagate the gospel of Omooba Damilare to the people of Sagamu in all nooks and crannies, he said with God and support from people, victory is ascertained.
