The letter which was dated, 16th September, 2022 issued by President Buhari through the office of the Honourable Minister, federal ministry of special duties and inter-governmental affairs with Ref: FMSDIGA/NHA/001/T/90.
Today, a National Honour was bestowed on Oba Dr Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Torungbuwa II, LLB, LLM, FCA, FBIR, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland who's also the Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas.
Meanwhile, Sen. George Akume, Honourable Minister had earlier stated that he has the honour to formally inform Akarigbo that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has approved the conferment of the National Honours on him, in the rank of CFR (Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic).
Remo Citizens and Residents have been congratulating Akarigbo on the conferment of the national honour by Buhari.
Congratulatory messages have been rolling in from great personalities, prominent people, young men and women from the nooks and crannies of Remoland, Ogun State and Nigeria at large, in felicitation with Akarigbo on his new title as CFR of the federal republic of Nigeria.
