MR OBARUWA 2023 is titled "PROMOTING OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE FOR A SECURED FUTURE".

This is to inform all young males of Makun-Obaruwa origin and between the age of 20 - 28yrs, that the application forms for the usual Miss Obaruwa Contest and first-ever Mr Obaruwa 2023 Contest, form is now available at Ewusi Palace at the cost of 15,000. (Fifteen Thousand Naira Only).

Mr Obaruwa 2023  is an embodiment of the real Makun Obaruwa's positive traits and virtues. The winner must possess leadership ability, talent, capacity, intelligence and commitment for communal gains and development. He must also be able to stand out in any occasion and situations. 

SON gathered that whoever wears the crown, shall be honored as Mr Obaruwa 2023 with staff of office, modern day Obaruwa role model, inclusion in the Makun- Obaruwa hall of fame And Makun Obaruwa Cultural and tourism Ambassador. The contestants must have a traceable origin through paternal or maternal family background from Makun town, must be in the age bracket of (20 --- 28) years, must possess a minimum educational qualification of WASSCE/SSCE/NECO/GCE or equivalents.

Contestants must be of good character. Contestants with proof and evidence of criminal records or anti social acts shall be disqualified before the contest. Contestants shall attach a copy of their Contestants Advocacy Statement (100 words) with the application forms.

According to SON, Comrade Segun Okeowo Kayode (IKENGA) is the Project Coordinator, while the 2023 Mr and Miss Obaruwa Contests are proudly sponsored and supported by Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing, CEO Adron Homes and Properties.
