BREAKING: SAGAMU: FULL SPEECH: Makun Obaruwa Festival Planning Committee Holds Press Briefing, Outlines Events For 2023 Celebration [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

The central planning committee of the 2023 Obaruwa Festival of Arts and Culture, under the chairmanship of Otunba Adebowale Atoloye (the Otunba Obaruwa of Makun Land), held a press briefing this Sunday to commence the 25th Obaruwa Festival, with the theme "Promoting our Cultural Heritage for a Secured Future". The events has been slated to holds from 5th to 11th of February 2023.
The spokesperson of the planning committee, Otunba Kayode Howells who's also known as Baba Kay, outlined the various events for the celebration, spoke on the importance of the celebration on the social and economic development of Makun town. He also commended the good people of Makun for their commitments and participation towards the preparations for this year festival.
Part of the events lined up for this year celebration includes, Marathon/Cycling Race, cultural display, Royal Dinner, Mr & Miss Obaruwa Beauty pageant, Visit to the Heroes tomb and Obaruwa Groove and Grand Finale.
I dont think that is the best options for now , I think the committee can see what we are facing in nigeria abt the crisis on changing of the new naira note policy n the crisis of getting petrol ... pls i think they should reschedule the program base on what is happening in nigeria as of today
