A former governor of Ogun State Senator Ibikunle Amosun currently representing the Ogun Central district in National Assembly has spoken out concerning the false news published as a feature in Sahara Reporters Online on the 15th of March 2023 as to where his allegiance actually belongs in the Ogun 2023 Governorship election contest.
Amosun in a telephone conversation with our editor repeated that “my support is first to the great people of Ogun West who have not tasted power in Ogun State since the creation of the state and my commitments and support to their son Barr. Biyi Otegbeye of African Democratic Congress, ADC is absolute and undivided”
Amosun also laughed at some desperate politicians using his name to fly their already failed agenda to desist from the act. He said “I have seen some desperate politicians trying to attach my name to their aspirations and this is very funny, laughable and despicable.
They want to use my name to legitimize their aspirations but indeed they are not part of my political family”. “Our political family is the major promoter of our son Barr. Biyi Otegbeye of ADC and our unflinching support for ADC is seen from the fact that I have campaigned with governorship candidate in all the 20 LGAs of Ogun State.
Amosun finally advised Ogun State citizens to go out peacefully on Saturday 18th of March 2023 to cast and secure their votes for Barr. Biyi Otegbeye who is the most capable and qualified and better prepared of all the governorship candidates. According to the former governor Otegbeye will fix the rots in Ogun State.
