The attention of the leadership of Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has been drawn to a purported news making round the media where it was stated that "Ogun Residents In Fear As Amoran re-elect State Excos Today".
Ordinarily, we wouldn't have dignified with response this silly rantings or malicious publication, which was borne out of personal bitterness, hatred, ignorance, self contradictions and complete unintelligent outburst.
We use this medium to inform the glorious people of Ogun State that the re-election and inauguration of the newly elected executives went on successfully without commotion, chaos, and any iota of violence.
As law abiding citizens, every members of the association comported themselves well, the atmosphere was calm and cool throughout the program and it was indeed a success.
It should be noted that some detractors and mediocres are not happy that AMORAN as an association which is bringing onboard new innovations and ideologies into the system other than the greek gift they are known for.
However, many dignitaries came around to grace the occasion, such as Ogun Speaker, Rt. Hon. Kunle Oluomo, Hon. Elemide, Hon. Sapele, Hon. Comm. Funmi Efuwape, Hon. Awosho amongst others.
Indubitably, our performances and responsiveness to our members and the generality of Ogun people are giving some unscrupulous elements headache, we are all enlightened in our association and everyone can see our antecedents, great contributions, public enlightenment and sensitization that speak well of us.
We urge the great people of Ogun to outrightly disregard such malicious publication as it was aimed at maligning our built reputation.
