BREAKING: SAGAMU: EPILEPTIC POWER SUPPLY: Protest In Sagamu Sacrosanct If There Is No Improvement As Promised By IBEDC - NLC Blows Hot

Due to the epileptic power supply within Sagamu metropolis, the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC Sagamu chapter had embarked on familiarization visit to the IBEDC office where they stated their plights and noted that IBEDC as an organization is extorting and checking the Sagamu populace.
According to their last letter, dated 26th October, 2023, after the engagement with IBEDC Business Manager who spoke on behalf of the organization and thereby promised to resolve the issue of epileptic power supply within the space of three weeks.
It would be recalled that Sagamu Residents have been put in darkness for months while IBEDC management turned deaf ears to Sagamu Indigenes yearnings and agitations.

"Reference to our letter NLC/OG/SGM/00083 dated 19 October 2023 and the dialogue meeting held between the executives, affiliate Union Chairmen and your humble self on Wednesday 25 October 2023, we hereby write to inform you that the Congress has put on hold the protest schedule to hold on Monday 6 November 2023 for three (3) weeks based on the terms of agreement at the meeting that the faulty MVA transformer will be restored on or before then.
"We hereby implore you and the management to cease this opportunity to restore Sagamu electricity back to normal within this period." Comrade 'Lanre Oriola stated
