Today marks a memorable day in the history of Sagamu as many dignitaries, prominent personalities, security agencies, royal Fathers, Baales, Olotituns, youth representatives, youth stakeholders, student Leaders amongst others stormed the streets of Sagamu, campaigned against every form of crime operations in Sagamu local government, Remo and Ogun State as a whole.

The Nigeria Police Force Ogun State Command Headquarters in collaboration with Eagle Crime Awareness and Prevention Initiative & Akarigbo And Paramount Ruler Of Remoland were said to have presented the initiative and tagged it "Kick Out Crimes", "Say No To Every Forms Of Crimes In Sagamu, Remo And Ogun State As A Whole".

In the early hours of today, mammoth crowd were seen gathered at the Akarigbo Palace, ready and waiting for his royal majesty, Oba Dr Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Torungbuwa II, LLB, LLM, FCA, FBR, CFR, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland and also the Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas to launch the awareness and equally lead the procession.

Kabiyesi Alayeluwa, Oba Akarigbo eventually joined the mammoth crowd where he kicked the balloon with an inscription "say no to crime operations", the crowd enthusiastically praised him as he declared the program opened while the multitude took the awareness to the streets of Sagamu.

The Ogun State Deputy majority Leader, Hon. Adeniran Ademola Adeyinka Sapele who's currently representing the fantabulous people of Sagamu II State Constituency also joined the crowd, trekked alongside other personalities who were seen echoing "no to every form of crime operations in Sagamu metropolis, no to cultism, no to killings, no to kidnaping, no to gangsterism, no to violence, no to drug abuse, no to hooliganism etc".

Even the Babalojas, Iyalojas, Schools Principals, Students, AMORAN, ACOMORAN, ROMO, Transport Unions representatives also joined the mammoth crowd in the peaceful trek.

"As the Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas, I'm happy that we are starting this awareness in Remo. Ogun State is the investment destination of Nigeria and Remo is the investment destination of Ogun State, it makes more sense that the program is starting from here.

"The youth should keep hope alive, we shall continue to build them so that they can build the Nation and they should not be discouraged, Nigeria will be better." Akarigbo emphatically stated.

According to the Nigeria Police Force, the slogan for the awareness remains "OPERATION KNOW YOUR NEIGHBOR, SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING & TAKE ACTION."
