It's not a gain saying that Remo Parliament Loop remains an outstanding and most active loop in the Southwest of Nigeria with over 500 members.

The platform was solely the idea of a two term house of assembly member, also former Ogun majority Leader, Hon Barr. Asiwaju Yinka Mafe of blessed memory and was created on July 23, 2018, by a convener, Comrade Tolu Sopeju.

The platform has since then been active where members engaged in political, social, economic, educational, security etc discussions, draw out modus operandi in bringing lasting solution on each affect areas and forward to the appropriate quarters for execution of such laudable ideas innovation and resolution.

The same loop has embarked on a fund raising to bring succor to Emuren community and also do some minor projects across Remoland. Remoland comprises of Sagamu, Ikenne and Remo North local governments of Ogun State.

However, it was reported few weeks ago by our correspondent that Emuren community in Sagamu local government area of the state was affected by the rainstorms which wreaked havoc in the area where schools, churches, and over 150 houses were affected.

Though, it was reported that the local government, state government and even Federal government teams have visited the scene, promising to come to their aids soon.

In order to ameliorate the current situation in the area in their little way, Remo Parliamentarians keyed into the initiative of raising fund where over 3.7million was raised within 5 days.

A committee was set up and headed by one Comrade Gbenga, Ambassador Easy, Ònígègè Àrà of Remoland after the instruction of Prince Momson who's the head of the Admins on the loop.

Individuals contributed immensely towards the projects at hand with minimum of N2,000 which amounts to millions of naira after summation.

Our royal Fathers, Politicians, Philanthropists, business Moguls, Youth Leaders, prominent personalities across Remo land, various individuals, home and diaspora amongst others were present on the loop.

The projects are to be executed by the committee set up who promised to keep the members of Remo Parliament abreast as events unfold.
