The Sagamu Local Government Education Authority has honored Remo Parliament, a coalition of indigenous individuals from across Remoland, for their outstanding contributions towards community development.



The recognition specifically acknowledges the group's renovation of St. Paul's Anglican Primary School in Emuren.



The award was presented Apostle Amos Kunle Odubote, the Executive Secretary of Sagamu Local Government Education Authority, Mrs. Helen Arege, Headteacher of St. Paul's Anglican Primary School, and other top officials, to Remo Parliament Project Committee members, led by the Chairman Gbenga Ambassador Easy and one of the members present Mr Adekunle Ashaye Apase.


Apostle Amos Kunle Odubote, the Executive Secretary of Sagamu Local Government, was joined by senior officials, including Chief Monitoring Officer Comrade Sokoya, Mrs. Rabiu, Head of Social Services, and Mrs. Adeosun, in presenting the award.


Mrs Arege while speaking appreciated Remo Parliament Members and showered prayers of blessing upon all those who contributed to the kind gesture.


In response, Ambassador Easy expressed gratitude to the local government and  the School administration, stating that, "This award serves as a catalyst for us to continue  striving for the advancement of Remo land. 

We remain committed to fostering community development and progress."


The Remo Parliament's dedication to community service exemplifies the values of Remo land, showcasing the community's resilience and cultural heritage.
