As part of Sagamu Youth Association Executives development vision for Sagamu under the leadership of Comrade Olugbenga Isiaka Lawal (Ambassador Easy), Akarigbo Road is set to be electrified with solar-powered streetlights, a move aimed at enhancing security and improving night-time visibility. Installations are scheduled to commence in the coming days.
This project stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Sagamu Youth Association (SYA) under the leadership of Comrade Olugbenga Isiaka Lawal (Ambassador Easy), whose relentless advocacy played a crucial role in its approval.
The Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, HRM Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, was instrumental in making this vision a reality, reinforcing the commitment of political leaders to community progress.
A special recognition goes also to Mr. Abdul Oladimeji Ikutaati and Mr Habeeb Ajetunmobi, the duo whose dedication and consistent follow-ups ensured the smooth facilitation of this project. Most importantly, this initiative serves as a fitting tribute to the late Otunba Oriyomi Adewunmi Onanuga (Ijaya), former Deputy Chief Whip of the 10th House of Representatives, whose efforts in championing development projects in Sagamu remain unforgettable.
