The rate of insecurity in the Country at the moment is quite alarming, our educational system has been bastardized, the country is currently experiencing epileptic power supply, lack of infrastructures as we approach the 2023 general election.

The aforementioned are what the nation is encountering, our political parties, PDP, APC etc should deem it necessary to support and endorse capable and diligent people, Hon Uchechi Smart Akandu who is from the South East part of the Country, Imo State made this call when he visited the Great Prime Association of Friends in Delta state for the one year remembrance of his beloved Mother that departed on the 30th of April 2022.

Smart in a discussion said Nigeria need a salable Candidate from the South East, even though few of these Candidates from the South East are not ready to dole out cash to delegates.

"Oftentimes, all the candidates who have spent more money before the election seldomly perform, as they would want to recover the money spent during the electioneering period.

"Moreso, I will like Nigerians to look outside the box, lets go back to the olden days of Leaders like President OLUSEGUN Obasanjo from Southwest who spent 8years as President, after which Yar'dua from North, President Goodluck Jonathan from the south south now president Buhari from the North is presently piloting the affairs of the nation.

"It will be my delight and greatest pleasure to see someone from the south east from different parties to run for the office of the President, I think we should give the east a trial and stop this mentality that immediately an Igbo man becomes president he will divide the country. Such wrong notion should be discarded.

"It's no more news that anywhere an Igbo man found himself across the world, change, I mean positive change must be made.

"Peter Obi visited Lagos computer village in Lagos, you need to see how he was welcomed, many trooped out en-masse but would the party delegates do the needful by voting for a man or any vibrant Aspirants who can make the expected changes we've all been clamouring for? This is a question all Nigerians should answer within themselves.

"I will plead with patriotic Nigerians to shun stomach politics and embrace responsible and responsive represention mostly during this era that we are experiencing a set back virtually in all sectors in the nation. Uche said.
