Barely twenty-four hours after Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo met with certain governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, former Lagos State governor and chieftain of the ruling party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with the Governors on Monday in Abuja.
The meeting was held at the Kebbi State Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja.
Kebbi State Governor who incidentally is the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was the chief host.
After a meeting that lasted for one hour, Tinubu who spoke with journalists said he has no political son in the race for the presidential ticket of the APC.
Checks revealed that former Attorney General of Lagos State, Yemi Osinbajo who served in the cabinet of Tinubu as Lagos State Governor declared for the race on Monday.
Professor Osinbajo former declaration has since increased the number of aspirants for the APC ticket to seven.
Among those in attendance at the Kebbi Governor’s Lodge meeting were Governors of Kano,Lagos, Kwara, Yobe and Imo State.
