The management of Ogun State Park Management Services (OGSPAM) has raised alarm over the detention of its boss, Alhaji Akeem Bodunrin popularly known as Iyeru by the Department of State Services (DSS) describing Iyeru’s detention as unfair.
Iyeru in the early hours of Thursday had turned up at the Abeokuta office of the DSS on the invitation of the authorities of the DSS for questioning over the crisis rocking the leadership of Transport unions in Ogun state.
OGAPAM in a release signed by its media officer, Arikewuyo Moshood described Iyeru’s detention as unfair and barbaric.
“We are surprised that our chairman was detained by the DSS . As a law abiding citizen, Iyeru honored the invitation of the DSS for questioning as regards the incident that happened during the annual Itori day in Ewekoro local
government last week.
“Other Transport union leaders that were invited for questioning were not detained, why only Iyeru?. This is unfair and barbaric.
“As posited in our press release last week, Iyeru is a father to all the transport union leaders in Ogun state and could not have attacked any of his children.
“We are calling on Gov. Dapo Abiodun, Chief Olusegun Osoba and other stakeholders to wade into this matter,” he concluded.
