The Ogun State House of Assembly Lawmaker representing the glorious people of Sagamu II State Constituency, Makun, Hon Adeniran Ademola Adeyinka Sapele sympathized with the Victims who lost their properties, goods and products to the inferno.

It was reported that Sapele's attention was drawn to the outbreak by some of the people in his Constituency in the early hours of today, Wednesday, 4th of January, 2023.

According to the ward 13 Honourable, Alhaji Dada, stated that the inferno started at the wee hours of Monday through yesterday's morning and no one could ascertain the cause of the fire outbreak.

While counting their losses, those working at the mechanic village mentioned that second hand vehicles, newly repaired ones, injectors, motor spare parts, shops amongst other valuable goods and Properties were burnt down by the inferno.

"I don't believe what I saw on getting to the venue of the fire outbreak, fire guts various shops and valuable goods and products were burnt to ashes". Sapele deeply expressed.

Sapele finally stated that he would ensure that the situation is ameliorated, he equally pleaded with his constituents to be careful and conscious these days and ensure that all electrical appliances are switched off at the close of business or when leaving homes.

"Only God Almighty can console the victims and I pray that God will bless them all bountifully and make them regain their losses". Sapele stated.

The Sagamu Mechanic Village is situated along Sagamu - Benin Expressway in Makun area of Sagamu local government, Sagamu, Ogun State. Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, no life was lost and no casualty recorded.
