It was a highly spirited atmosphere today at the local government secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Sagamu as the Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Odulate, Alhaji Rafiu Opaleye, Hon Arole Azeez Bello the GLO and other party leaders inaugurated the Campaign Council and Committees for the coming 2023 general elections.


The well attended inauguration made popular and acceptable decisions with the emergence of a renowned Educationist, Mr Jubril Soboyejo as the Director General, Hon Rafiu Awoyemi and Mrs Makanjuola as Deputy Director 1 and 2. Also inaugurated are Special Duties Committee with Comrade Isiaka Salami as the Chairman, Finance Committee with Aare Adetola Emmanuel King as Chairman, Media & Public Communication Committee, Welfare Committee, Mobilisation Committee and Students Engagement Committee among others.


The Chairman, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate in his remarks said all the Committees have vital roles to play in ensuring the success of the party in the coming elections. He also appealed to other party faithfuls to liaise with members of the inaugurated committees and most importantly, the polling units conversers for a robust and fruitful collaboration at all wards.
