Hon. Oludaisi Elemide has been sworn in as the Speaker of Ogun State house of assembly today.
It's was reported that Rt. Hon Olakunle Oluomo was on January 23, 2024 impeached by the Lawmakers.
Elemide who is currently representing Odeda state constituency was sworn in during today’s plenary at the Ogun State house of assembly chamber.
Recall that Oluomo was impeached by 18 lawmakers out of 21 members of the assembly during a plenary presided over by the Deputy Speaker, Mrs Bolanle Ajayi (APC-Yewa South) where Assembly elected Mr Oludaisi Elemide (APC-Odeda) as the new speaker.
