OGUN: YPP Ogun State Congratulates Dapo Abiodun On Supreme Court Verdict

The Young Progressives Party, Ogun State, on Wednesday at her State Executive meeting, described the judgement of the Supreme Court panel that affirmed Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR victory as the Executive Governor of Ogun State as a “justice to all” that would further deepen the commitment to rebuild Ogun agenda and probes electoral laws and judicial jurisprudence.
In a statement by the party's State Chairman, Prince Adewale Akinsanya, said the judgement had finally settled the legal battle over the 2023 gubernatorial election in the State, saying lovers of democracy must commend the resilience of the judiciary in deepening the country’s democracy through its sound judgments.
It read partly, “On behalf of the YPP family in Ogun, I congratulate our governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR and APC Ogun on their victory at the Supreme Court."
This judgement has put to an end the needless bickering, distractions and litigation that greeted the 2023 gubernatorial election. It is our hope that the rulling party, APC will welcome and embrace other opposition parties to move Ogun State forward in the overall interest of our dear State.
