In a passionate appeal to the restless youths of Remo in Ogun State, Comrade Bashiru Hammed Adewale, senior media aide to the Remo Youth Association who's popularly known as Honourable Prince Lahbash, has cautioned against planned protests in the area. Lahbash's plea comes at a time when tensions are running high, with many youths expressing frustration over the economic hardship and perceived government inaction.

While acknowledging the legitimacy of their grievances, Lahbash urged the youths to consider the fragile peace in Remoland, particularly in Sagamu, where the memories of last year's violent protests still linger. The protests, which turned violent, resulted in the burning of no fewer than 13 commercial banks, including the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) business hub office in Sagamu.

Lahbash emphasized that the government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is aware of the challenges facing the nation and is working tirelessly to address them. He pointed to various initiatives and measures put in place by the government to alleviate the suffering of the masses, urging the youths to give the government more time to deliver on its promises.

"We understand the frustration, we feel the pain, but we must not allow our emotions to cloud our judgment," Lahbash said. "We must consider the consequences of our actions, not just for ourselves, but for our communities, our businesses, and our future."

Lahbash's appeal is not a call to surrender or acquiesce to the status quo. Rather, it is a call to caution, to consider alternative, peaceful means of expressing grievances and seeking redress. He urged the youths to engage in constructive dialogue with the government, to present their demands and work together to find solutions.

"The government is not a monolith, it is made up of human beings who are also affected by the same challenges we face," Lahbash said. "Let us work together to find solutions, to build a better future for ourselves and our children."
