Hon. Uchechi smart Akandu today applauded and felicitated with the federal government under the able Leadership of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for fighting for the freedom of 774 local government areas (LGAs) across the nation for a full financial autonomy.

Hon Uchechi said this judgment at the Supreme Court led by a seven man panel by Justice Garba Lawal is a great news to all the local government areas of the federation.

Hon. Uchechi who is from Ezinihitte Mbaise local government congratulated his Governor Senator Hope Uzodima who's already planing for the local government election than other south east states that have not even done anything about the local government elections, this shows that Governor Hope Uzodima is a true Leader who have his people at heart.

Hon uchechi who was a personal Assistant to Rt. Hon Muyiwa Oladapo, Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs has been discussing with some of the Youths over the local government election coming up in the state.

Smart also used the medium to appeal to the Governor to look into the security and environmental issues in the State, suggested that a task force should be working from time to time to enforce sanitation laws, mostly during this raining season. The monthly environmental sanitation should continue because a lot of our people are polluting the environment, environment laws should be enforced in our market places, schools, business and industrial areas and hospitals.

Uchechi in his words while speaking with our correspondent on security implored the Governor to step up his game as the chief security officer of the state as protecting the lives and properties of his citizens are very imperative during this period. He unequivocally stated that he so much believe in the action Governor that insecurity in Warri and other part of the state would become things of the past.

Smart who has made his intention known and he's ready to take his community to the next level under the great party of APC, said if given the opportunity to serve his people, he would impact many lives and ensure that the money disbursed to the local government is judiciously spent and accounted for from time to time.

"President Bola Tinubu has done a great job and I’m happy with this new development, all Nigerians should congratulate him for making things work for the 774 local government areas across the federation." Uchechi said

"Governor Hope Uzodima is a man of high integrity who has performed tremendously over the years and he's still willing to make life easier and better for the great people of Imo State.

"Another good and notable achievement with regards to the conduct of free, fair and credible election is the doing away with state independent, this will bring the total number of beneficiaries to the targeted 1,000,000 Nigerians spread across the 774 local government areas.
