SAGAMU - In a significant move to address electricity challenges, the Sagamu Youth Association (SYA) met with Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) management today.
The meeting, held at IBEDC's Sagamu branch, aimed to improve electricity supply and tackle pressing issues. Key resolutions reached during the meeting include,
IBEDC and SYA will sensitize the public to encourage prompt bill payment once electricity is stabilized.
A joint task force will be established to address electrical faults promptly.
The new TCN Saapade project will enhance electricity supply, eliminating the need for Sagamu to distribute power to surrounding areas.
Constant power supply will be ensured, especially during end of year events.
SYA and IBEDC will work together to meter houses, avoiding estimated billing issues.
Engineers will repair the faulty Sagamu TCN transformer after completing the Saapade transformer.
IBEDC Business Manager, Mr. Brume, pledged cooperation with SYA for consistent electricity distribution. Attendees included SYA President Olugbenga Lawal, Ambassador Easy, Asiwaju Ifedayo, Yusuf, Opeyemi, Lateef, Anu, and others.
This partnership follows SYA's calls to restore power and address transformer issues. With IBEDC's commitment, residents can expect improved power supply.
