OGUN: SAGAMU: Ewusi Of Makun Hosts, Sagamu Youth Association, Calls For Employment Opportunities

His Royal Highness, Oba Timothy Oyesola Akinsanya, the Ewusi of Makun, in a show of support for the younger generation welcomed the Sagamu Youth Association to his palace. The monarch, known for his progressive stance on youth development, used the occasion to highlight the critical need for more job creations to combat unemployments and ensure a brighter future for the community.


Speaking during the meeting with Sagamu Youth Association, Oba Akinsanya Timothy emphasized the importance of empowering youths through education, and meaningful employments. He called on government agencies, private organizations, and well-meaning individuals to support Sagamu Youth Association and prioritize creating platforms where young people can thrive and contribute to societal growth. “Our youths are our strength. We must invest in their potential to guarantee a prosperous tomorrow,” he declared.


The Sagamu Youth Association expressed their gratitude to the monarch for his unwavering support and commitment to youth welfare. 


The association ably led by Comrade Olugbenga Isiaka Lawal popularly known as Ambassador Easy pledged to work collaboratively with stakeholders to address the challenges facing young people, particularly in areas like job creation, entrepreneurship, and capacity building.


This landmark meeting underscores Oba Akinsanya’s vision of a united and prosperous Sagamu community. His advocacy for youth empowerment continues to inspire hope and confidence in the future of the Makun Kingdom and Sagamu at large.
