In a bid to foster collaboration and address pressing issues in the community, leaders of the Sagamu Youth Association met with representatives of the Nigerian Police force, Sagamu Local Government, and other stakeholders.
The meeting, which took place on December 3, 2024, brought together 7 executives of the Sagamu Youth Association, including the President
Comrade Olugbenga Lawal, Ambassador Easy,
Sagamu Youth Association 2 stakeholders, and Police DPOs from Igbobi, Sakora, Ewu-Oliwo, Ogijo, and Sotubo.
Key discussion points included community policing, festive period collaboration, insecurity issues, and addressing drug abuse.
The police representatives pledged to collaborate with the palace and youths to enforce peace, especially during the festive season, and maintain a strong presence in the community to address insecurity concerns.
Both parties resolved to promote friendly police community based interaction, fostering a safer and more peaceful community.
The meeting marked a significant step towards fostering collaboration and addressing pressing issues in the community.
